HTC Google Nexus Sailfish and Marlin models are likely to come in October with Android Nougat 7 and with headphone jack.
HTC is working on its two models code named “Marlin” and “Sailfish”. These are the Nexus smartphones running on Android 7 Nougat. However, the company will announce the both models in October and rumors have already started prevailing about these devices.
According to the latest leak, The Nexus sailfish is smallest of the two and will feature a 5-inch Full HD display and will be powered by a quad-core processor 2.0GHZ.While Android Police is reporting the processor model to be unknown or more likely Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
It will have 4 GB RAM and 32GB storage. The smartphone is powered by a 2,770 mAh battery. Nexus Sailfish are likely to get same camera setup as seen in Nexus 6P.
According to the Android Police the Nexus Sailfish will come with 12 MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. It will also have a rear fingerprint sensor with Nexus imprints support and its bottom is mounted by USB-C port. Well, there are few Android phone makers who have incorporated the pressure-sensitive touch inside their handsets .It will be having 3.5mm headphones jack and be adding bottom-firing speakers.
Google is reported to come up with a cleaner design with its Nexus lineup. There is no camera hump like Nexus 6P.If the specification that we have discussed above turns out to be correct then Google Nexus Sailfish will be the most compact smartphone in the market and the Android market.
