Black Berry is working on three new Android Phones. The Canadian manufacturer will be releasing one phone per quarter for the next three quarters, according to a person briefed on the company’s plans. The trio (Neon, Argon and Mercury) will target a range of form factors.
Sequentially, Neon will come first which holds the 5.2 inch full touch screen plus 1080p resolution. An aluminum frame with soft-coated plastic back will enhance the look of its body plus Neon is powered by a Snapdragon 617 system on a chip from Qualcomm, according to source. You will get 3GB RAM, 16GB of storage and 2610mAh battery, supporting QuicjCHarge 2.0. 13 Megapixel camera and selfie lover can take selfies with 8 megapixel in front. This Android Phone will goes on sale in the July to August timeframe.
After Neon, Argon is the second android device out of that trio. If we talk about the basic specification of this phone, then this one is fully touchscreen with 5.5 inch display plus Argon allegedly offers a QHD resolution (same as Priv, BlackBerry’s first Android phone). Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage plus 3000mAh battery, supported by QuickCHarge 3.0. Fingerprint reader and USB type C connector are the other notable features. In coming October, this device will be available on stores.
Mercury is the third android device will land on the Android Market. Only in Mercury you will get the physical QWERTY keyword, as Priv does.
